About VON ARDENNE

VON ARDENNE devel­ops and man­u­fac­tures sys­tems for the indus­tri­al vac­u­um coat­ing of mate­ri­als such as glass, wafers, met­al strips or poly­mer films.

Our cus­tomers use these mate­ri­als to man­u­fac­ture high-qual­i­ty prod­ucts such as solar cells, archi­tec­tur­al glass, fuel cells or micro­elec­tron­ic com­po­nents for sen­sors and optics.

With more than 60 years of expe­ri­ence in elec­tron beam tech­nol­o­gy and over 50 years of expe­ri­ence in mag­netron sput­ter­ing, VON ARDENNE is a pio­neer and world-lead­ing sup­pli­er of equip­ment and tech­nolo­gies in PVD thin-film and vac­u­um process tech­nol­o­gy.

We are fac­ing the chal­lenges of our cur­rent times. Togeth­er with our cus­tomers, we are work­ing on solu­tions for the sus­tain­able use of ener­gy, its gen­er­a­tion from renew­able sources and for the mobil­i­ty of the future.

As a tech­nol­o­gy pio­neer, we have many years of exper­tise in devel­op­ing coat­ing process­es as well as equip­ment and scal­ing them to meet the var­i­ous require­ments in R&D, pilot and high-vol­ume pro­duc­tion.

The key com­po­nents are devel­oped and pro­duced in-house at VON ARDENNE. We thus offer our cus­tomers sophis­ti­cat­ed coat­ing sys­tems, com­pre­hen­sive know-how and glob­al ser­vice.
