Conference Location

GeMiC 2025 took place in the Hörsaalzentrum of Dresden University of Technology on March 17–19, 2025.

Dresden University of Technology (TUD) is one of the largest universities of technology in Germany and is among the leading and most dynamic universities in Germany. As a university with 17 faculties in five Schools, TUD offers a broad variety of 119 degree courses and covers a wide research spectrum in the research priority areas Health Sciences, Biomedicine & Bioengineering, Information Technology & Microelectronics, Smart Materials & Structures, Energy, Mobility & Environment as well as Culture & Societal Change. Around 29,000 students are enrolled at TUD.
Since 2012, TUD has been one of eleven “Universities of Excellence” and receives permanent funding within the framework of the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments as of November 2019. Its core elements are the Excellence proposal “TUD 2028 — Synergy and beyond” with the unique research alliance DRESDEN-concept and three Clusters of Excellence.

By tram: Use tram services 3 and 8 from downtown Dresden to stop “Nürnberger Platz”, then about five minutes on foot. Click here to plan your route.

By car: Type “Bergstraße 64, 01069 Dresden” into your navigation system. Be aware that there are no parking garages close to Hörsaalzentrum! Only a few parking spots can be found in the streets in the direct vicinity of the conference location. Therefore, we recommend to use public transportation.
